Sisram Medical (1696.HK) will buy back up to 1% of its issued shares, according to the company's announcement. The Hong Kong-listed aesthetic-device maker will execute the buyback in the open market, subject to market conditions, with repurchased shares either cancelled or held as treasury shares depending on capital needs.

The timing signals confidence in the company's fundamentals. Co-CEO and CFO Jiahong Li said the repurchase reflects strong belief in Sisram's long-term prospects and the company's desire to share its growth with shareholders. The board framed the buyback as part of broader capital strategy, balancing how the business grows, what the company invests in strategically, and how much financial room it maintains.

Injectables revenue jumped 54.2% year-over-year to US$22.2 million, now representing 12.9% of total revenue.

The buyback comes after Sisram reported first-half 2026 results showing revenue of US$171.4 million, up 3.6% year-over-year. International markets excluding North America grew faster, rising 16.7% to US$127.0 million. The Asia-Pacific region led international growth at US$78.4 million, a 19.1% increase.

Injectables drove the strongest momentum. Revenue from injectables jumped 54.2% year-over-year to US$22.2 million, now representing 12.9% of total revenue. The company brought DAXXIFY to market in mainland China, alongside products including Profhilo and Hallura, driving this growth. Management calls injectables the company's "second growth engine" alongside its core energy-based device platform.

In the EBD business, Sisram said flagship platforms including Alma Harmony and the Hybrid family gained solid market traction. The company rolled out new products across Asia-Pacific and adapted offerings for China during the period.

The repurchase plan operates under Sisram's existing share repurchase mandate. The company will execute it subject to Hong Kong Stock Exchange listing rules, the company's articles of association, applicable provisions of takeover and merger codes, share buyback regulations, and other applicable laws. The company provided no timeline, quantity target, or price range for the buyback. Repurchases may not occur at any specific timing or price.

Li emphasized that Sisram will execute the plan "in a prudent and disciplined manner, balancing business growth, what it prioritizes for strategic investment, how much financial flexibility it preserves, and prevailing market conditions. The company also stated it will assess shareholder return measures suited to its stage of growth and capital needs, aiming to share benefits with shareholders.

Sisram operates through three global strategic hubs in Israel, the United States, and China. The company serves customers in over 110 countries and regions and is majority-owned by Fosun Pharma. It has been listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange since September 2017.

The company's product portfolio spans energy-based devices, injectables, diagnostics, and complementary solutions. Beyond DAXXIFY, Profhilo, and Hallura in injectables, the EBD lineup includes Alma Harmony and the Hybrid family. Sisram leads the global medical aesthetic market, drawing on over 25 years of expertise in energy-based devices.

Looking ahead, Sisram said it will strengthen how its R&D and innovation teams work together across global commercial operations and localized capabilities at its three hubs. The company plans to refine core products and turn what it learns into commercial results, while accelerating registration and bringing new products to market across major global regions. Sisram will also seek out partnerships and strategic growth opportunities that create meaningful synergies with its broader wellness ecosystem.

The company assumes no responsibility to update forward-looking statements or adapt them to future events or developments. Shareholders and potential investors should exercise caution when dealing in the company's securities.
