The partnership reflects how Indian aesthetic physicians now evaluate technology. Doctors move past marketing claims and device specs toward clinical evidence, engineering quality, and training support. That's what DEKA and GeoMedics are arguing as they deepen their footprint in a market they describe as "rapidly evolving."
In Mumbai, four clinics now carry DEKA platforms. Dr. Satish Savant and Dr. Sushil Savant's practice in Andheri West installed Toro Pico Nano, Punto, VasQ, and Motus Pro for pigmentation, fractional resurfacing, vascular work, and hair reduction. Dr. Rashmi Shetty's clinic in Santacruz added ONDA PRO, which uses DEKA's patented Coolwaves microwave technology for non-invasive fat reduction, cellulite improvement, and skin tightening. The Alok Dermatology Institute in Panvel, led by three dermatologists—Dr. Dipak Kulkarni, Dr. Ojas Kulkarni, and Dr. Ruta Joshi Kulkarni—brought in DuoGlide, Red Touch Pro, ONDA PRO, MiniSilk, and Motus Pro.
Pune saw installations at both academic and private sites. Bharati Hospital and Bharati Vidyapeeth introduced Red Touch Pro and Toro Pico Nano for patient care and medical education. Dr. Vijay Nagdev and Dr. Pooja's practice added Toro Pico Nano, PHYSIQ 360, and ONDA PRO with Coolwaves technology, combining laser, body-contouring, and muscle-electro stimulation capabilities. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital and Research Centre installed DEKA Again Pro Plus.
In Chennai, Dr. Prasanthi G's HALOS Clinic brought in ONDA PRO with patented Coolwaves technology and MiniSilk, extending the partnership's reach into South India.
The rollout goes beyond installing devices. GeoMedics and DEKA train physicians hands-on, establish clinical protocols, provide application support, and deliver technical service. The launch program across the three cities brought together Francesco Badii, head of DEKA International; Somen Banerjee, CMD of GeoMedics Pharma; and Neehar Gandhi, director of sales and marketing at GeoMedics, along with dermatologists, physicians, and medical institutions. The events gave physicians direct access to the technology and its underlying engineering and clinical applications.
Francesco Badii said DEKA has "always been research driven" and aims to develop technologies where "engineering, research and clinical application come together to create meaningful solutions for physicians and patients. He called India "an important and rapidly evolving market."
Somen Banerjee said the partnership rests on a principle: advanced technology must pair with science, knowledge, training, and service. He stressed the partnership focuses not on placing machines in clinics but on "creating the ecosystem around it. Banerjee added that the market is "moving towards more informed decision-making" and that GeoMedics wants to "bring technologies that are scientifically backed, precisely engineered and clinically relevant."
Neehar Gandhi noted that Indian doctors now "ask deeper questions about technology—about R&D, engineering, clinical applications, training and long-term support. He said GeoMedics aims to ensure advanced technologies reach physicians "together with the knowledge and support required to use them effectively."
The portfolio now spans Toro Pico Nano, Punto, VasQ, Motus Pro, DuoGlide, Red Touch Pro, MiniSilk, Again Pro Plus, PHYSIQ 360, and ONDA PRO with patented Coolwaves technology, covering dermatology, aesthetics, body contouring, and skin rejuvenation applications.
