Allergan Aesthetics, an AbbVie company, has set BOTOX Cosmetic Day for Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2026, according to the company's announcement published Oct. 28. It is the eighth year of the event, and the release frames it as the brand's biggest promotion of the year.

The refer-a-friend credit pays out only after the friend registers and gets treated between Nov. 1 and 30.
The event is a consultation drive. New and existing patients are invited to book a comprehensive consultation with a licensed aesthetic specialist to talk through treatment options. The headline consumer offer is a buy-one-get-one free $50 gift card, which the release says is "limited-time" and "while supplies last."
The loyalty layer runs through Allē, Allergan Aesthetics' rewards program. Allē Members who refer a friend between Nov. 1 and 30 get $50 off any qualifying Allē product or treatment. The friend has to register for Allē and actually get treated. Each Member can make one referral. Read that twice before you put it in a mailer. The credit only triggers on a completed treatment, not a booked consult.
The release says Allē connects more than 7 million Members with nearly 30,000 practices. Those numbers come from the company, and the release does not say how many of those practices are enrolled in this specific promotion.
The release also says the day is recognized on the National Day Registry and falls on the third Wednesday of November. Nothing in the document says whether participating practices pay anything to join.
The product claims in the release
The release calls BOTOX Cosmetic "the only FDA-approved neurotoxin in the U.S." for four areas: moderate to severe frown lines, crow's feet, forehead lines and platysma bands. That is the product's approved-use list, and the release reproduces it in the safety section. Treat the "only" claim as Allergan's wording. The document does not compare it against other labels.
On timing, the release says full results for upper facial lines were seen at 30 days in the phase 3 trials. It cites a phase 4 study in which 90.5 percent of patients reported being "Mostly satisfied" or "Very satisfied" with how natural their results looked at Day 30. That was measured on one follow-up item, and the study's primary endpoint was that item. Use the number as a company-reported satisfaction figure, not as a general outcome rate.
What it means for practices
Analysis: the event works best for practices that already run a consult-first funnel. The promotion sends traffic to a consultation, which is where the sale happens anyway. A practice with a weak consult process will get more appointments and not much more revenue.
The refer-a-friend credit is the piece that needs staff attention. Your front desk has to know that a friend's treatment, not a booking, unlocks the $50. If a patient asks about it in early November and the friend cancels, you will be the one explaining the terms.
Because the release's safety section lists the standard warnings and a boxed warning, your consult scripts should reflect the Important Information in the document: the list of conditions to disclose, medications to report, and the 4-month window for other botulinum toxin injections. Those are the questions a consult has to cover before the offer matters at all.
What owners can do
Confirm your Allē enrollment status before Nov. 1. The release points to botoxcosmeticday.com for enrollment and gift card purchases, and that is the place to start.
Decide whether your BOGO gift card is a cost you can carry. The release says supplies are limited and terms apply, but it does not give the terms in the document. Get them from the company's terms page before you advertise the offer.
Write the refer-a-friend rule into your patient-facing copy in full: friend must register, friend must be treated, Nov. 1 to 30, one referral per Member.
Train the consult staff to explain the four labeled areas and the safety disclosures, and to keep the promotion separate from the clinical discussion.
What we don't know
The document does not give the gift card's value to the practice, any per-practice cost, or the number of practices taking part. It does not say whether the offer is available to every patient type or only new patients, and it does not give the full Allē terms beyond the footnote. It also does not describe any change to BOTOX Cosmetic's label, pricing or dosing. Those questions go to your Allergan Aesthetics rep before you commit budget.
